ICC Mens’ T20 World Cup - JM Deck

Jaanhavi Mahendru

At just 22, she launched her own company focused on PR, digital strategy, and the
creation of impactful IPs that connect fans to the heart of the game. Her journey began
with inspiration drawn from India’s pioneering female cricket presenters. Watching
Mayanti Langer cover the IPL wasn’t just a moment – it was the spark that shaped
her mission. Today, Jaanhavi stands as one of the youngest voices leading digital media across
ICC and BCCI-associated tournaments. She has directed content strategy and
on-ground production for multiple international cricket leagues, BCCI state-affiliated
tournaments, and high-impact sporting properties – building narratives that resonate with fans worldwide.
Her client base spans India, Canada, Sri Lanka, the UK, and the USA – making her one
of the few young Indian women shaping sports media on a truly global scale.

At the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Jaanhavi Mahendru led her company, Sportyfy Media, to become the official Digital Partner of Oman Cricket. Sportyfy Media managed the entire social media ecosystem during the tournament, executing end-to-end digital strategy, match-day creatives, and campaign storytelling. The company also sponsored the official “Playing 11” graphics under the banner Sportyfy Media Presents Playing 11, consistently showcasing Oman’s World Cup journey with impactful branding and high-engagement coverage.
Following her leadership at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, Jaanhavi Mahendru received widespread recognition from leading newspapers in Lucknow, celebrating her achievement as the first girl from the city to take her company, Sportyfy Media, to a global cricket stage. Her journey was acknowledged with multiple newspaper features and paper cuttings, highlighting her entrepreneurial vision, contribution to sports media, and the pride she brought to her hometown by representing Lucknow at the World Cup level.

England & Wales Cricket Board | Lord's Cricket Ground

During the ICC World Cup, Jaanhavi Mahendru worked closely with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the CrickFit Academy, London, on a special community development programme hosted at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The initiative, supported by the ECB and the UK government, focused on educating schools and colleges across London to promote inclusivity, eliminate racism, and encourage youth participation in cricket. As part of this campaign, Jaanhavi engaged with several Mayors and local leaders, conducting interviews and collaborative sessions aimed at strengthening cricket’s role in building community harmony. The programme reflected the ECB’s wider Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plan, which seeks to make cricket accessible and welcoming to people from all backgrounds. Her contribution to this initiative showcased her ability to merge media, education, and sport to drive social impact using cricket not just as a game, but as a tool for unity, belonging, and positive change.

ICC Men's World Cup 2023

I’m building two legacies at once one as a woman rewriting her place in the sports industry, not just as a face on screen, but as the mind behind it. And the other, through a company that captures the quiet, emotional, unfiltered moments in sport the ones fans never get to see, but always feel. I want people to know their players not just as stars, but as humans raw, real, and right there with them. That’s what I create. That’s what I stand for

Thank You
